Night-time tornadoes can be dangerous events, as it's hard to see where the storms are and which way they're heading. But in the above video, a tornado that struck Pontiac, Illi**is last week made its presence k**w when it slammed into a power transformer and literally sent sparks flying.

The EF2-rated (111-135 m.p.h.) tornado was captured on video by a local police ******r's dashcam. This was one of several tornados to strike Central Illi**is. ** deaths were reported, but several people were injured. Damage was sustained across a portion of the state.*
