Cozmo is busy celebrating. It’s bouncing on its tank-like treads, demonstrating that this little robot is the least gracious of winners.

It’s also incredibly cute and, in my brief experience, surprisingly entertaining.

Cozmo is a new robot creation from Anki, the company that brought you’re the testosterone-bait Overdrive robotic racing system, which used robot cars and your iPhone to race on specially designed track; built-in intelligence gives drivers of all skill levels a big assist.

Overdrive is, according to Anki CEO Boris Sofman, a success. He counts 3.2 million hours played and 2 million miles driven on those tiny tracks. Yet the Overdrive system **w seems like a mere overture to the full, interactive symphony of Cozmo. Read more...
