Three injured in mill fire

TOBA TEK SINGH: Three labourers received burns when fire broke out in a mill on Shorkot Road here on Sunday.

The workers were cleaning a power plant of the mill when fire broke out due to a short circuit. As a result, Kashif, Mukhtar and Nasrullah received serious burns. They were admitted to the DHQ Hospital.

WALK: The Excise and Taxation Department organised a walk to observe the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking here on Sunday.

It started from the ****** up to Shahbaz Chowk. Speaking on the occasion, E&T ******r Rana Qamarul Hassan Sajjad said that smuggling and sale of narcotics was **t a less crime than terrorism as it destroyed the lives of millions of youths. He urged the parents to keep check on activities of their children to save them from narcotics.
