Israel and Turkey agree to **rmalise ties - senior Israeli official
 

Israel and Turkey on Sunday reached agreement to **rmalise ties, a senior Israeli official told Israeli reporters travelling with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is in Rome.

An official an**uncement on the restoration of full ties is expected on Monday and comes after three years of talks, encouraged by Washington, to end a rift over the Israeli navy's killing of 10 Turkish pro-Palestinian activists who tried to sail to the blockaded Gaza Strip in 2010.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry had ** immediate comment on the Israeli official's an**uncement.
