Food Dept seals factory in Mansehra
 

MANSEHRA: The district food department has sealed a ***** crushing factory where flour meant for deserving people under a relief package was being sold.

A team of district food department, led by District Food Controller Iqbal Hussain Shah, raided a factory at Akbar Khan Road and seized a huge quantity of flour.

“The flour, provided by a foreign country for deserving people in Ramazan, was being sold to buyers. “We have sealed the factory and fined the owner Rs25000,” Hussain told reporters.

He said that an inquiry was also launched to take legal action against those people who had brought the flour to the factory for sale, instead of providing it to the deserving people free of cost.
