Singer escapes attack in Peshawar
 

PESHAWAR: Unidentified persons opened fire on a popular Pashto singer, Sarfaraz Khan, in Chamkani area, police officials said on Saturday.

Sarfaraz told the police in a written complaint that he, along with his brother, was on way in a car when armed men opened fire on them. The complainant said the attackers also tortured them and damaged their car. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
