Sindh CM okays JITs for probe into*Owais Shah?s abduction, Sabri?s murder
 

Karachi: In a late-night development on Friday, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah approved the constitution of two joint investigation teams (JITs) to conduct probes into the murder of acclaimed Qawwal Amjad Sabri and the kidnapping of the son of the Sindh High Court chief justice in the city.

The JITs would interrogate the suspects so far apprehended in the murder case of Amjad Sabri, who was shot dead on June 22 in the Liaquatabad area and the kidnapping of Advocate Owais Ali Shah, son of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah,from the parking lot of a supermarket in Clifton on June 20.

The JITs comprising representatives of different law-enforcement and intelligence agencies would also supervise the investigations into both the high-profile cases.
