Students protest school demolition

NANKANA SAHIB: Students and their parents Friday protested against the district administration over demolition of the building of the Government High School, Kot Hussain. The protesters told reporters that the building of the school was a historic one and apparently there was ** reason to demolish it. They demanded a probe into the issue.

RANJEET’S DEATH ANNIVERSARY: The death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh concluded at Gurdawara Janamasthan on Friday. The Indian Sikh Yatrees left for Lahore amid tight security. Talking to reporters, the Yatrees leader Sardar Gurmeet Singh said the Yatrees were taking with them a message of love and peace. He thanked the government of Pakistan for better re**vation of Gurdawaras.
