Blast in Quetta leaves 3 dead and 27 injured
 

QUETTA: A bomb blast at the city's Alamo Chowk left three people dead and twenty-seven injured on Friday.

According to SSP Operations, the explosive material was installed in a cycle, which caused the bomb blast. The magnitude of the blast could **t be ascertained for the time being.

Balochistan has remained unstable over the past few years due to frequent attacks by militants and separatists.

Rescue officials disclosed that the injured had been shifted to the Civil Hospital. Emergency had been imposed in the Civil Hospital after the blast occurred. A couple of the injured were said to be in critical condition.

Rescue officials stated that children were also among the injured.
