Low lying areas inundated as rain lashes Lahore other parts of Punjab
 

LAHORE: Rain with thunderstorm hit majority of the cities in Punjab early Wednesday morning inundating several low lying areas while different Lesco feeders tripped.

According to the local media heavy rain and gusts with thick clouds took the city by surprise in the morning when pleasant weather turned into a storm.

Several areas were blacked out as the downpour tripped different power feeders.

Two persons were injured in a roof collapse accident near Thokar Niaz Baig area owing to the thundershower.

Official sources stated that both the injured were taken out of the rubble and shifted to Jinnah Hospital.

Both the persons are stable and out of danger.

Last night four of a family were killed in a**ther roof collapse incident on Lahore s Multan Road and at least five sustained injuries.
