First CPEC cell set up at FCCI
 

FAISALABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal inaugurated the first China-Pakistan Eco**mic Corridor (CPEC) cell at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the minister termed the CPEC game changer for the region.

He said that small and medium entrepreneurs in particular and big business groups in general should start work on the project and identify fields in which they could collaborate with their Chinese partners.

He suggested that all the chambers of commerce and industry should establish such cells for benefit of their members. He appreciated FCCI president Chaudhry Muhammad Nawaz, who had taken the initiative and set up the CPEC cell.
