50 fall unconscious after taking yogurt in Jhang

JHANG: As many as 50 people, including women and children, fell unconscious allegedly after taking substandard yogurt at Samandoana village on Saturday.

The people purchased yogurt from a local shop. After eating the yogurt, nearly 50 people felt severe pain in their abdomen and fell unconscious. They were rushed to the THQ Hospital Ahmadpur Sial. EDO Health Dr Zafar Abbas Khan told The News that senior doctors had been called for emergency treatment of the patients.
