Sean Penn's The Last Face might be the last time he shows his own at the Cannes Film Festival for a while.*

The film, which Penn directed, was ripped apart by critics for its plot, pacing and seemingly offensive portrayals of AfricansLast Face*stars Charlize Theron and Javier Bardem as aid workers who fall in love, and work in various west African countries.*
