Clearly, the days of boxy Volvos are officially behind us.

Volvo Cars debuted two new compact concepts Wednesday morning. They're called 40.1 and 40.2. Although their names are lacking in creativity, their designs certainly aren't.

The sharp Swedish sedan and crossover concepts form **t only hint at Volvo's future 40 ****** of compact cars, it also debuts the brand's new compact platform called Compact Modular Architecture (CMA).



The forthcoming 40 ****** will be more than stunning to behold, they'll also be highly connected, eco friendly and safe (it's Volvo after all). Read more...
