Iesco workers to hold rally

The employees and workers of Iesco have an**unced to take out rallies throughout country on Wednesday to demand the federal government for making 100 per cent raise in their salaries in the coming National Budget.

The strategy of taking out rallies all over the country was adopted in a meeting of All Pakistan Hydro Electrical Workers Union held under the chairmanship of Javaid Baloch, Regional Chairman, Regional General Secretary Khurshid Khan, Regional
Vice Chairman Raja Khalil Ashraf, Regional Secretary Tariq Niazi which was
participated by large number of employees, workers of Iesco.

They while referring to 100 per cent increase made in emoluments of elected Parliamentarians some 6 months ago, stressed that the federal government should make equal increase in their monthly salaries in the ensuing budget.

Similarly, they demanded off the government to adjust ad hoc allowances of Iesco employees in their basic pays. Moreover, they called for ending power load-shedding in the country.
