Arms smuggling bid foiled
 

PESHAWAR: The Matani police on Tuesday foiled an attempt to smuggle huge quantity of arms and ammunition in a truck and arrested the driver.

Speaking at a press conference, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Shakir Bangash said acting on a tip-off the cops stopped a truck and recovered 103 rifles and 4500 rounds from its hidden cavities. Police said the driver of the truck Daud from Mashokhel village was arrested.
