Two-time cancer survivor gets his wish and meets Luke Skywalker

After exhausting every option,*Jamie Harkin was finally able to meet his hero: Luke Skywalker.

Harkin has survived Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer twice, and made it one of his missions to meet some of his Star Wars*heroes.*

Harkin has also set up*Jamie's Journie, a support network that aids sick teens and young people through their cancer diag**sis. And although he has beaten cancer twice, Harkin has fallen ill since January, and has been in and out of the hospital several times, the Derry Journal reports.*

After finding out that Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver*were nearby filming for the upcoming Star Wars Episode VIII film in Ireland, Harkin*started a campaign in an attempt to meet some of the cast.* Read more...
