Sunday night's episode of Fear the Walking Dead was an emotional hour for everyone's favorite steely yacht captain, Victor Strand.*

In the episode, Strand bid farewell to his longtime partner, Thomas, who was bitten by a walker and forced to endure a slow, painful death. And instead of following Thomas into post-dead life — as the two had discussed — Victor chose to live, much to the chagrin of Thomas' creepy mother.*
