It's always great to have a friend who doubles as your mystical shadow.

Such is the case for Pete, this orange cat whose dark-furred companion, Sully, boggled a few Redditors briefly on Friday.

The conundrum: is Sully a**ther cat? Or is he just ... a mysterious shadow?

"For a moment, I thought it was a shadow," wrote user Dark_Vulture83,*"then I realized shadows don't have eyes."
