Garbage heaps irk citizens

NANKANA SAHIB: Locals are facing severe problems owing to poor cleanliness conditions in city Nankana. Heaps of garbage are present in several areas of the city and sweepers are **where to be found. Citizens urged the authorities concerned to look into the matter.

OBITUARY: Sheikh Ferozuddin advocate, a **ted social personality of the area, passed away after a prolonged illness here on Friday.

He was an activist of the Pakistan Movement. A large number of people from different walks of life attended his funeral. He was buried at a local graveyard. His Qul would be held at his residence at 9am today (Saturday). The District Bar Association observed a strike to condole the death.
