This refers to the news report, ‘Afridi dropped from Pakistan probables for England tour’ (May 2). So, Shahid Afridi, Ahmad Shahzad and Umar Akmal can**t find a place even among 35 probable players. Only months ago these players were deemed capable e**ugh of representing the nation at the highest competitive level of the game.

In English conditions, experience is a must. Inzamam is talking about discipline. It seems the great batsman is thinking like a coach – and **t as a chief selector. However, as far as selection is concerned, it all boils down to one single question: what is the criterion?
