The 22nd Amendment
 

For how long will we keep living in a state of denial? What has the Punjab government to say about the parallel justice system set up by JuD in the heart of the provincial capital – the so-called Darul Qaza Sharia or Shariat Courts? There is ** doubt that our justice system is corrupt, inefficient and generally distrusted by people.

Does it mean that we accept a parallel justice system? This is a wakeup call for the state to clear the mess by bringing about judicial reforms to ensure that justice is delivered regardless of who can and can**t pay for it. Otherwise, the government should ask JuD legal experts to help draft a**ther constitutional amendment – the 22nd Amendment.
