You can say a lot of things about Super 8, but you can't say the motel brand doesn't have a sense of humor.

As part of a rebranding, Super 8 is giving away all its old motel room art — from all 1,800 motel locations — with 100 works featured at a gallery event in New York City hosted by comedian Amy Sedaris.

The event,*When the Art Comes Down: Works from the Super 8 Collection, will be at a gallery on Bowery in Manhattan and feature such classics as "Horses running in a meadow"*and "Floral."*

At least, those might be the names. That depends on Sedaris, who was tasked with naming all the artwork. Read more...
