The theme for the 2016 Met Gala,*“Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Tech**logy,” was intended to celebrate haute couture while also appreciating the role tech**logy has played in moving fashion forward.

Perhaps ** dress better represented that theme on Monday night than designer Zac Posen’s gown for Claire Danes.

On the red carpet, Danes’ dress looked elegant and sophisticated. The light blue color gave off some serious Cinderella vibes, while the styling of Danes’ hair and makeup channeled Grace Kelly.
