10 shops looted in one night

BUREWALA: Some unidentified robbers took away cash and other valuables from 10 shops in one night in the limits of City police on Friday night.

The robbers broke into the shops and took away cash and other valuables. Later, shopkeepers staged a demonstration against the police for failing to control robbery and dacoity incidents in the area. The traders, including Muhammad Khalid, Muhammad Arshad, Raheel Kashif, Muhammad Ilyas, Hafiz Abdul Jabbar, Sheikh Muhammad Azeem, Anwar, Muhammad Shahid, Muhammad Babar, Abdul Khaliq, Muhammad Tahir and Muhammad Musa, protested against the police and said that the police had failed to control increasing crimes. They demanded the Punjab IGP take **tice of the issue.
