LOS ANGELES — One of the great surprises from this year's Sundance Film Festival was that Southside With You is actually good.

Quite good. Really.

Because honestly, if you're anything like us, you took one look at writer/director Richard Tanne and thought, this is the guy to tell the Barack and Michelle's first-date story?
