The U.S. has started "dropping cyberbombs" on ISIS computer networks, according to a recent*New York Times*report.

The term "cyberbomb" sounds like something out of a **vel, and it's a new tool in the fight against ISIS. In fact, the Obama administration's mere mention of using cyberattacks runs counter to years of **t officially admitting to offensive cyber tactics. But the term really conveys complex, ongoing electronic-based operations rather than boom-you're-dead malware attacks.

What are 'cyberbombs'?
