Man crushed by train

TOBA TEK SINGH: A man was crushed to death by the Shalimar Express near Chak 298/GB on Tuesday night.

Adnan Shakoor, a resident of Azad Kashmir, was crossing a railway crossing on a car when suddenly the Karachi-bound Shalimar Express arrived and hit his car. As a result, Adnan died on the spot. The train remained stopped at the railway crossing after the accident for half an hour. Later, it departed for Karachi.



SNGPL Faisalabad regional general manager summoned

TOBA TEK SINGH: On a application of human rights commission chairman, District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Yar Wallana on Wednesday summoned SNGPL Faisalabad regional general manager on Friday (tomorrow).

Ijaz Siddique had filed a petition stating that there was ** gas shortage in the country and all CNG stations had been opened, but that the SNGPL authorities were observing loadshedding from 9pm to 6am in Toba.
