In Real Life Donkey Kong, a tough-as-nails Mario scales Donkey's towering assemblage of support beams as a races to rescue his captured girlfriend. There's even a clever **d to Mario's Super Mario*evolution at the very end.

The video — created and wholly assembled by "Banks" — is a wonderful piece of work on its own. But it all comes together around the amazing music, which mixes dubstep beats with bleeps and bloops from the 8-bit era, cleverly riffing on familiar melodies and sound effects from the original game.
