Pearl Jam have opted out of their **rth Carolina gig, becoming the latest act to cancel a show in the state because of a law that limits the rights of the LGBT community.*

The new law blocks anti-discrimination rules that protected gay and transgender people.*



The rock band's decision comes days after*Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Bryan Adams and Boston all cancelled shows scheduled in **rth Carolina.

The gig was due to take place at the 20,000-capacity PNC Arena in Raleigh on Wednesday.
