After years of murmurs and rumours, cult Australian electronic band The Avalanches will be playing their first show in 15 years at Byron Bay's Splendour In The Grass in July.

The shock an**uncement, which follows insane excitement over the outfit's Facebook cover photo change yesterday, also comes with dates at the Primevera Sound Festival in Barcelona on Jun. 3 and Field Day in London on Jun. 12.*
