Remember the emaciated sea lion pup that wandered into a San Diego restaurant last February? As many hoped, her story has a happy ending

Seaworld, which rescued the pup and named her Marina, posted on its Facebook Wednesday that the baby sea lion was finally ready to return to the ocean

According to staff who worked with her, bringing little Marina back to her natural habitat was an experience beyond words

"I was part of the team that rescued Marina, and really to see how emaciated this pup was, and k**wing the odds were against her, to be on the team that returned her to the wild today is really an emotion that's hard to describe," said Jody Westberg, a stranded animal coordinator at SeaWorld, in the video.
