On a Saturday morning in March, while most of my friends were likely still at the bar, I was turning off my alarm clock and heading to my first Cat Fanciers' Association Cat Show at the Best Western Hotel in rural Matamoras, Pennsylvania. Having photographed a cat fashion show, the Westminster Dog Show and*an entire book about the bond between men andtheir feline friends under my belt, I feel like a veteran when it comes to animal-related assignments.*
