LONDON — Sherlock co-creator Mark Gatiss has surprised fans by breaking the news that ****** 4 is under way.

Although there is ** official release date, the mastermind behind the popular BBC drama — who also plays Mycroft Holmes in it — revealed on Twitter that the detective drama is in the works.

The image of a skull wearing glasses was tweeted alongside the words, "I spy ****** Four… #Sherlock."
