NBC live gets the Sorkin treatment with 'A Few Good Men'

After several live musicals and the wildly successful The Wiz, NBC's live theater sights have shifted to Aaron Sorkin's A Few Good Men. Sorkin wrote the 1989 Broadway production and Academy Award-**minated 1992 film.

“I am thrilled that Aaron Sorkin is coming back to NBC to adapt and produce a live broadcast of his electrifying play A Few Good Men, which seems as timely as ever today,” said NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt.*

Sorkin will executive produce with Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who produced Smash, The Sound of Music Live, Peter Pan Live*and The Wiz Live,*along with movie versions of Hairspray,*Footloose, and Chicago. Read more...
