Everyone should have a friendship as beautiful and pure as this grandpa and his dog.

Twitter user Jessica Amante shared some photos of her grandfather, who lives in an assisted living community, with his new dog, Penny, on March 6.

According to Amante's post, her grandpa, **w 90, has asked his caregiver to take photos of him and Penny to send to his loved ones. Who wouldn't want to get these when they open their inbox?

Amante's mother, Debbie, also shared the sweet photos on Facebook.
