Brussels travel still paralyzed after terror attacks

Travel to and from Belgium remained severely disrupted on Wednesday, a day after two deadly attacks on the Brussels Airport and a metro station killed at least 34 people and injured many others.

The Brussels Airport tweeted that all passenger flights would remain suspended through at least Thursday.



More than 500 passenger flights arrive or depart from the Brussels Airport each day, according to monthly statistics published on the airport's website,*carrying on average more than 50,000 passengers daily.

Within Europe, rail operator Eurostar said its trains were running **rmally and was resuming regular service through Brussels, but encouraged passengers to check in early because of enhanced security. Read more...
