American tourist arrested for Indiana Jones-style escapade in Jerusalem

The next Indiana Jones movie may need a disclaimer: Don't try this at home — or anywhere else.

A 19-year-old American tourist was arrested last week in Jerusalem's Old City after spending the night in Zedekiah's Cave to look for treasure.

The man entered the cave, also k**wn as Solomon's Quarries, carrying a backpack when it was open to visitors last Thursday, then hid in a crevice to avoid security when it closed, according to Haaretz.

Though the cave is usually closed on Fridays, luckily — or unluckily for the man — workers entered the cave that day to do some maintenance. Read more...
