It's always the right time for a burger, especially when you have been downing*shamrock shots.*

Smashburger cofounder and chief concept ******r Tom Ryan headed into the kitchen to create a "Smashable" burger exclusively for*Mashable, using*some favorite Irish ingredients.*

Though the recipe isn't available at Smashburger restaurants, you can try your hand at it at home with the recipe listed at the end of this post.*

Ryan says the secret to a great burger is quality ingredients.*"I*splurge on cheese type. Brie, goat, Gruyere, and even Irish Cashel Blue make for a very distinctive, rich burger."
