A woman found herself in a tricky situation when a bus company that owed her husband's business money paid off the 1.1 miliion yuan ($168,000) loan in small change.

With ** choice but to accept the money which came packed in bags weighing several tons, the woman, identified only by her surname Lu, decided to find a bank in Dongyang in Zhejiang, China, that would accept the hefty deposit.

Despite calling several local banks, Lu was repeatedly turned away citing "inconvenience," until the Dongyang Rural Commercial Bank agreed to take about half of her stash amounting to 540,000 yuan ($82,000). Read more...
