Gamers rejoice. PlayStation has an**unced Australian pricing and availability for its virtual reality headset.*

PlayStation VR will set Aussies back A$549.95, the company said*Wednesday. The product will launch in*October 2016 in Australia, as well as*Japan, **rth America, Europe, Asia and New Zealand.*If you're super keen, the device is **w*available*for pre-order from select retailers.

In the U.S., the headset will retail for*$399, which means Aussies aren't paying too much more, per Wednesday's currency rates.*
