ضمن مباريات دور الثمانية لدورة صعقاوي 23 ألتقى فريق الرضا وفريق شباب الجزيرة وكانت البداية رائعة من الفريقين، حيث شهدت مباراة مفتوحة من الطرفين والعديد من الفرص الضائعة للفريقان .

وفي شوط المباراة الثاني تمكن فريق شباب الجزيرة من خطف الهدف الأول ولم يمهل الرضا فريق شباب الجزيرة للفرحة بهدفه*حيث سجل “الرضا” هدف التعادل من ضربة جزاء وبعدها من خروج خاطئ لحارس المرمى حصل فريق الرضا ضربة جزاء ثانية ليتمكن من إحرازها ليتقدم بهدفين بعد تأخره بهدف ليعلن الحكم يوسف النجار عن نهاية المباراة بفوز فريق الرضا بهدفين مقابل هدف، و*حصل على أفضل لاعب في المباراة لاعب فريق الرضا عبدالله الخليفة.
