Justin Bieber kicked off the 'Purpose' world tour in Seattle last night, and **w we finally get to hear what his new songs all sound like with backing vocals from thousands of teenage girls. It is kind of life affirming.*

He delivered a solo acoustic version of "Love Yourself" from a velvet couch, and it was as close to a therapy session as you can get in a stadium full of people.*

Bieber wore a plaid shirt on his torso — but don't worry, he performed shirtless for part of the evening — and also rocked a matching plaid shirt around his waist, as you do in Kurt Cobain's city.*
