9,000 autos to hit suburban roads soon, 3,000 in Thane
 

You can soon expect at least 9,000 brand new autorickshaws to hit the streets in the suburbs. This is apart from nearly 3,000 autos in the Thane region. Between 30 and 40 autos will be driven by women in the first phase, said officials.
