‘Black magic’ a crime against society, can**t quash case: HC
 

The Bombay high court refused to quash a criminal complaint registered against a BMC employee under the special anti-black magic law. The court was hearing an application filed by the accused S R Kunchikorve seeking that the case be quashed. He was booked under the act for allegedly tying up a mentally-ill person to a tree in Dharavi to exorcise him. Additional public prosecutor S V Sonawane opposed the plea.
