Intelligentsia split on call for removal of US Sanskrit scholar
 

An online petition, started by Indian scholars and academicians demanding the removal of American Indologist Sheldon Pollock as the general editor of Murty Classical Library of India, has managed to garner support from over 14,000 signatories in just about six days.
