Kristin Welchez used to front the indie rock outfit the Dum Dum Girls as Dee Dee, but has recently taken up a new moniker for her solo pop project, Kristin Kontrol. This week, Sub Pop Records officially shared the release date of the debut solo record, X-Communicate, and shared the title track from the highly anticipated album, which will be available May 27, 2016.
