DALLAS — Texas is the last stand for Sen. Ted Cruz.

With Republican Party leaders trying to stop Donald Trump, the race has become a frenzied sprint to coalesce a Trump alternative.

With Sen. Marco Rubio earning attention over the last few weeks, Cruz needs a game-changing moment to switch that narrative to him. And a win in his home state of Texas would do just that.
