LONDON — The countdown to the referendum on the UK's membership of the European Union has begun, and while there are vocal advocates on both sides, one group seems resolutely against Brexit: younger voters.

Recent polls show younger voters favouring to stay in the EU when compared with an older demographic.

“There’s a very strong age correlation,” YouGov’s research director Anthony Wells told Mashable. “Young people are more pro-Stay.”

Wells' assertion has been shown again and again. NatCen Social Research, an independent social research agency, pointed Mashable to a recent report showing a stark contrast in attitudes to EU membership depending on age bracket. Read more...
