LOS ANGELES — Jean-Claude Van Damme is reportedly tackling TV with new Amazon ****** in which he is expected to play — what else? — a version of himself.

The new scripted comedy, called Jean-Claude Van Johnson, will have the actor and martial artist starring as a secret black ops private contractor, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Representatives for Amazon Studios and Van Damme did **t respond to requests for comment Tuesday.
